MRI/PAINFUL LEGS

My legs hurt all day long. I have pain on a daily and especially when I'm doing any physical activity. I have been experiencing the pain in my legs after being in a car accident in the year 2011. My legs have been swelling in fact my whole body swells at times. I am concern about how or why this is happening to my body. At first after the accident my back hurt when standing and then pain down the legs and now swelling. I do have Thyroid Nodules which can cause swelling but my legs are hurting me day and night. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks back and I am schedule for an MRI SCAN of my lower extremity of the body. I am praying that I get an answer as to why I hurt so badly. I have never had issues with pain until the accident happened.

My doctor suspect a potential problem but the scan will determine if that is the problem. I took my daughter to the skate center on Valentines Day weekend. I decided that I would skate with her and my legs was hurting so bad it was almost to painful to skate. The pain was severe that I had to stop and just rub my legs for a while and then get back out and skate. I knew then that this pain is bad and I needed to get serious about the pain and find out what is going on. I know that walking for awhile hurts my legs as well and not to mention shoes with heels hurt even worst. I'm praying that the scan will determine what is bothering my legs and causing the pain.

I had an MRI SCAN before but it was the closed one not an open MRI and I was so nervous. The experience was horrible and I took so much time just trying to calm myself down LOL! The professionals was Great but I was so nervous and frightened by the machine that I told myself I hope I never have to experience that again. I Thank God that this time I am able to do an open MRI SCAN. YEAH! I am so happy to be able to have an open MRI because I don't think my nerves can handle the other one again. I am scheduled for next week and praying for an answer and one that can be treated with physical therapy or something less.
